coffee or tea

As I am taking Kismet out for her morning walk, I feel a craving for a coffee come on strong and I took a moment to reflect on this as we kept walking.

freedom is...

Being able to choose between McCafe, Starbucks or the local coffee shop.

Coffee or tea.

One sugar or two.

Cream or milk.

Do I want to also have a breakfast sandwich or a muffin?

Or abstain and not have anything at all?

freedom is...

Being aware that at every given moment you can choose to:

  • engage with your thoughts or not
  • say Yes or No
  • hold your power or give it away

So what are you choosing?
