dog paradox

Many things I did not understand before having a dog as part of my life.

So much I have learned from this animal that I can't communicate with, yet there is an understanding between us.

My perspective shifted some more after reading this comic and the eulogy at the end.

I think back to all of those moments when I would get really annoyed watching Kismet sniff everything, while I stand in the cold and rain, mean so much more... as I understand now that these "annoying moments" will only happen for maybe another 10 years.

Then they will end.
