it's your birthday

I have yet to meet anyone who has impacted me as much as you have.

Every day a thought of you drifts through my mind.

Sometimes it triggers a laugh as I relive moment of silliness.
I see the sparkle in your eyes.
I hear your laugh echo in my mind.

Other times it triggers a moment of sadness as I miss all of this.

As I continue to heal, learn and grow, I understand that we must continue to move on and not stay attached to the past.

Yes... easier said than done sometimes.

So wherever you are, I'm thinking of you.
